Privacy Policy
Last updated 16 August 2026
Fresh Stack is run by April Fresh in Indiana, United States. This policy explains what the app stores, why, who else can see it, and how to get rid of it. It describes what the app genuinely does today.
The short version
Your data is never sold. Not to anyone, not ever, not in any form. It isn’t used for advertising, it isn’t shared with data brokers, and it isn’t used to train anybody’s AI models. You can export everything or delete the lot from inside the app.
What’s stored
Only what you enter, plus what’s needed to keep you signed in.
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Username, password, optional email | To sign you in. Passwords are stored hashed — they can’t be read back, including by us. |
| Profile: name, birthdate, height, sex, activity level, timezone, goals | To calculate your targets and show the right day. Birthdate also gates adult‑only features. |
| Food you log, recipes, custom foods | The point of the app. |
| Workouts, routines, sets, weights and reps | The point of the app. |
| Weight, measurements, progress photos | The point of the app. Photos are stored privately and are not public. |
| Cycle tracking, fasting, peptides, supplements, water, pain notes | Only if you use those features. |
| Coach conversations | So your coach remembers the last thing you talked about. |
| Notification subscriptions | Only if you turn reminders on. |
| Sign‑in attempts and AI usage counts | To stop password guessing and to know what the service costs to run. |
There is no tracking of you around the internet. No advertising pixels, no analytics tracker, no third‑party cookies. The app sets one cookie, which keeps you signed in.
Who else touches it
Three companies, each doing one job:
- Cloudflare — hosts the app, the database and your photos.
- Anthropic — provides the AI behind the coach. When you send your coach a message, the relevant parts of your logs go with it so the reply makes sense. Anthropic does not use this to train their models.
- USDA and Open Food Facts — food databases the app searches. These are lookups of food names; nothing about you is sent.
That’s the whole list. Nobody else receives your data, and it is never sold or rented.
Deleting your account
Settings → Delete my account. Your account and everything in it goes immediately and you’re signed out everywhere. If you sign back in within 30 days, it all comes back exactly as it was. After 30 days it is permanently erased and cannot be recovered by anyone, including us.
You can also export a complete copy of your data at any time, from the same screen.
How long things are kept
Your data stays while your account exists, because that’s the point of a history. Deleted accounts are erased 30 days after deletion. Sign‑in attempt records are short‑lived.
Children
Fresh Stack isn’t intended for under‑13s. Accounts under 18 have peptide tracking hidden entirely, and the coach will not give peptide or hormone guidance to a minor.
Your rights
You can see, export, correct or delete your data, all from inside the app. Depending on where you live you may have further rights — write to info@freshstackai.com and they’ll be honoured.
Security, honestly
Passwords are hashed, everything travels encrypted, and every request is scoped to your own account so one person’s data cannot be served to another. No system is perfect, and anyone who claims otherwise is selling something. If a breach ever affected your data, you’d be told.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes. Anything significant will be flagged in the app rather than quietly edited.
